MTP Smock

(Grade 1) 
This is the British army MTP combat smock or jacket in the later PCS (Personal Clothing System) version and in new condition . Originally developed for use in green zone areas of countries like Afghanistan, this camo pattern has now been widely adopted by many forces and is compatible with Multicam and derivative patterns.
The smock features 8 external pockets, 2 breast and two waist with flaps covering the securing buttons plus two vertical zip pockets either side of the main zip near the front rank slide holder. In addition there is a small pocket on each of the sleeves which has a Velcro patch for the attachment of patches. Usefully, the waist pockets each has a fleece lined hand warmer pocket.
The smock also has armpit zips for ventilation, a wire rim hood plus pullcords at the hem and hood to adjust the fitting. The cuffs are adjusted by Velcro and there are also 2 pullcords internally to adjust the fit.
As with most military cold weather jackets, the size is roomy to allow fleeces and warm layers to be worn underneath.
This is a great windproof smock and is a genuine Britisharmy issue jacket
